The 5th Kindergarten Project is Completed

I am very pleased that this year's contruction project at the "Ecole 5" could be realized at the same time with the usual quality and at such a good pace. The bricklayers and I have become a wellrehearsed team. The kindergarten director an other helpers have also contributed to this enjoyable construction phase. Today the last brush stroke was done, while the toilets got their tiles. In a few days the classroom building, including the sanitary facilities and the office, will be completed and will complement the two existing classrooms. So, the Ecole 5 naus has a complete kindergarten for the usual three classes. (3-, 4- und 5-year old children)

It is always one of the most beautiful moments when the finished new buildings get their color. And I like it to be colorful, which also causes enthusiasm all around. Now it is time to tidy up the grounds and two trees are to be planted when the rainy season starts in June. The kindergarten director M. Doukuré and his team are committed to both the clearing up of the grounds and the planting of the trees. His great commitment was a real support for me during the whole construction phase.

Vacation and the many holidays in the last weeks, as well as several internal school cancelations have led to the fact that I have taught less in the last two months in the kindergartens, in connection with the playgrounds, which I had introduced. I miss the children and they also ask a lot for "Tada Marielle", so I am told. Now I am already looking forward to the next school year. Maybe I will experience one or the other school closing party before I fly to Switzerland on June 15th. Besides the usual work of the association, there are also events and activities, about which I will continue to report
